CARLOS ANGULO - President
Carlos has been involved in food service since 1980. He graduated from the University of Southern California with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

He also participated in the USC Food Industry Management Program. Carlos gained food service experience working for Smart & Final for 18 years in various capacities including store management, in-store merchandising, in-store computerized shelf management, procurement and distribution.

Carlos joined Acapulco and El Torito in 2000 to help develop the current procurement, distribution and manufacturing system.
PEPE LOPEZ - Executive Chef Sr. Vice President Research & Development
Pepe has over 25 years in the restaurant business. Pepe Lopez is a master chef who works with Nacho Varela to develop menus and food programs for all our concepts.

Pepe’s frequent trips to Mexico in search of Regional specialties is part of our current El Torito marketing campaign. He is in charge of menu development for Las Brisas, El Torito, El Torito Grill, Acapulco, Casa Gallardo, Hola Amigoes, El Paso Cantina and Who Song & Larry's.

Pepe works with Nacho when it comes to customizing new programs for concepts.
NACHO VARELA - Vice President Manufacturing and R&D
Nacho has over 25 years in the restaurant business. Nacho has served as Director of R&D for El Torito, Acapulco and El Torito Grill. He also has managed the R&D departments at Sizzlers, American Golf and Landry’s.

Nacho has been in charge of menu development at many fine dining restaurants such as Las Brisas, Chanticlair's, Players, Remick's, Cano's and DC3 restaurant and museum.

He adds a flair of creativity with food and combines this with his restaurant experience along with manufacturing experience. He is in charge of all our R&D and manufacturing.
BILL BRADEN - Vice President Purchasing
Bill has nearly 30 years in the restaurant business and over 15 years of operations experience managing restaurants and regions for various chains including Acapulco.

Bill has been a General Manager, Regional Manager, and Director of Training for Acapulco. Bill has been the Director of Purchasing for ALA Foods Distributing, now Real Mex Foods, since 1995.

Bill's operations background is a vital asset when it comes to procuring product for 140 restaurants and he also handles all procurement for products used in the manufacturing division. Bill has a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Riverside.
JOE DOMINGUEZ - Vice President Warehouse and Distribution
Joe joined Real Mex Foods in mid 2001 and has over 15 years experience in food service, focused in purchasing. Joe also has 10 years experience in the fast-paced airline food service business including Sky Chefs and Marriott.

Joe has managed purchasing programs, which included manufacturing, assembly, and distribution and therefore is a great resource for other team members when it comes to distribution solutions.

Joe has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
