For nearly 50 years, Real Mex Foods has been creating and supplying  a variety of products to some of the most recognized restaurant chains on the West Coast. From small local restaurants like El Gallo Giro to casual dining restaurant chains such Acapulco, El Torito, Chevys Fresh Mex, El Pollo Loco, Carl's Jr., Jack in the Box, and Del Taco.  Real Mex Foods applies its decades of experience in the culinary arts and our broad manufacturing expertise to make authentic ethnic dishes, as well as a host of other distinct and delicious recipes, using only the freshest ingredients.

With its own R&D Chefs, Real Mex Foods has a unique role as a food consultant to help develop specialty foods for its customers.  By teaming Real Mex Foods culinary experts with a client's R&D departments, its chefs are able to create products that meet each individual customer's goals and specifications.

To complement our product development and manufacturing capabilities, Real Mex Foods has distribution centers in Buena Park and Union City, CA and maintains a fleet of route delivery and over-the-road trucks to address your food service distribution needs.  With more than $150 million in annual distribution and manufacturing volume and close to 350 employees, we rank as one of the country's largest food service distributors. Real Mex Foods is certified organic, USDA and will soon attain SQF certification.
